Question Does Kraken Z63 fan headers provide enough power for 4 fans? I'm not too sure on overclocking yet but may give it a little boost once it's all in place so I can better control the temperature. Post a comment!

My goal, although not sure if it's possible, is to only have to use 1 program to control all, instead of controlling fans via mobo or asus software and kraken pump via cam software. Has anyone done this configuration who could provide some insight? All rights reserved.

The manual for the Kraken dictates plugging it in to the CPU_FAN header, but the AIO_PUMP header offers higher amperage for liquid cooling pumps. 30/08/ · I have an AIO_Pump on my Asus Maximus IX. But yeah, CPU_FAN works perfectly. There are 2 extra fan headers for the radiator fans on the cable for the kraken. I love how the new maximus has a AIO pump header plus 2 extra CPU opt header so i can control both fans plus the pump. The Kraken X62 pump connects to the motherboard through USB (header). The input on the pump is USB Mini-B. The cable it came with was USB Mini-B to USB header. The ASUS Zi has only 1 USB header and 1 USB Gen 2 header (NOTE: This is a different header than a USB and USB Gen 1); IT DOES NOT HAVE A USB header.
